Data protection at a glance
Protecting your personal data is important to us. We process personal data only in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG). This policy explains what data is processed when you visit this website, and what rights you have.

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is a static site hosted by GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, on the GitHub Pages service. It is served both at finotellolab.org and at computationalbiomedicinegroup.github.io, which point to the same GitHub Pages site.
When you visit this website, GitHub, as the hosting provider, may automatically collect and store technical information that your browser transmits, such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, and details about your browser and operating system. This processing is carried out by GitHub for the secure and stable operation of its service, on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not operate our own web server for this site and do not ourselves collect, store, or have access to these server log files. GitHub's handling of such data, including any retention periods, is described in GitHub's privacy statement: GitHub General Privacy Statement.
3. Cookies
This website does not set any cookies of its own and does not use tracking or analytics cookies.
4. Fonts and external content
All fonts, scripts, and images used on this website are served together with the site itself by the hosting provider (see section 2); they are not loaded from separate third-party servers. In particular, no fonts, scripts, maps, or other content are requested from external providers (such as content delivery networks or font services) when you view these pages, so no additional data is transmitted to third parties beyond the hosting provider described in section 2.
5. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, the information you provide (such as your email address and the content of your message) will be stored in order to process your enquiry. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and is not shared with third parties. We delete it once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
6. External links
This website contains links to external websites. When you follow such a link, the privacy policy of the respective external site applies; we have no influence over how those operators handle your data.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, please contact the controller named in section 1. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at) if you believe your data is being processed unlawfully.
